Origin is BF3's Downfall..

The first time I met Origin was the time that EA or Dice (really who cares?) was conducting a BETA test of BF3's Multiplayer. I never got to play the BETA cause I wanted my first BF3 experience to be special. Well guess what JAMES.. AFTER all the bullshit and stuff here we are writing a blog about Origin and not the game on the night of the release date of Battlefield 3.

I pre-ordered my BF3 on Origin four days before it's release. Simply because I was like, well Steam didn't give me any problems downloading and updating games, and their payment system is unbelievably safe. So yeah with just around 200 dollars on my pocket I decided to go broke and pre-order the freaking game. (Well I didn't went broke but still it was 66 dollars on Origin, that's way too much for a game) With all the hype and shit I discovered that our region (middle east) is scheduled to get the game 2 days late compared to the US. Well I let slide cause just like Dead Island we also got the game late. After hours of purchasing the game an email was sent by EA stating that my game is ready for Pre-load. So when I tried pre-loading the game it was just stuck with the Preparing status and gets paused. That thing happened over and over again for four freaking days. I thought that maybe I should wait for the release date to download the game. So that's what I did. Watched a freaking 24-Hour Live-stream by some famous youtubers as they play the amazing game. And when the release date of the game (this morning) came. The first thing I did was uninstall Origin, download the latest version of it on their website. Clear computer history and just clean everything. Even the registry. Turned off my antivirus and turned off my FIREWALL. And when I pressed the download button... it gave me this BULLSHIT..

Same thing all over again. So after millions of attempt to download the game. I gave up. Talked to a guy on EA to get a refund but since he asked me to wait for a day or two to decide. That's what I did cause buying the retail version wouldn't work too cause I also had to unlock the game through Origin and according to him it might give me another issue... Since yeah we don't live in a EU or US region...

BF3 was first available on steam for Pre-ordering. But on July they decided to pull it out of Steam. Yep and then months after it went on sale on Origin. I won't blame BF3 cause EA is their distributor but EA is stupid for doing a such big mess with origin. It's not even a legit release yet cause yes ORIGIN is still on BETA. Seems like a pretty wise thing to do. SELL ONE OF THE BIGGEST FPS FRANCHISE EVER in a freaking BETA STORE..

In conclusion Origin is BF3's downfall. BF3 will be remembered as one of the best FPS games ever! And I can't and wouldn't deny that cause just seeing game plays of it on youtube.. it's just like watching an amazing action movie. But for me I will remember Battlefield 3 as a game that it took me days before I can play it not because I can't afford the game but simply because Origin failed me....

McAfee Security Center = FUCK YOU.

When I purchased my Dell Inspiron Laptop about nine months ago, it came with the McAfee Security Center as the main Anti-Virus for the said notebook. But here's the catch the license is only valid for six months. At that time I told myself that if this shit expires I'm going to head over to piratebay and download a cracked version of any Anti-Virus in the market. But then after using it for about three months I saw how effective the Security Center was. Then when I only had a month left before it expires Dell emailed me a special offer that would give me 20 percent off if I renew my McAfee license before it expires. Without a doubt it was a bargain, top of the line security for my computer for a cheap price. It was a win-win until.... NOW.

Well what's bugging me is how strict it is when it comes to downloading cracked files. It doesn't even ask you if you want to delete the file or not. It just automatically deletes it from your system right away. It doesn't even have a vault for the virus that it deleted for you to retrieve it. I had to turn the "real time scanning" off just to download any .exe files from the internet. And this is where I actually lost it, when it starts blocking sites cause they are "potentially" harmful files on the website. I know it's just doing it's job to protect my pc from any malware shit but this is getting out of hand. If I only know that this is going to happen I should have just purchased an ESET NOD Anti-Virus. Which actually does the things that I said above.

I already disabled the Google Chrome Extension of it for me to be able to surf the net freely again. I already got used to turning the Real Time Scanning off whenever I'm downloading any app from the web or from any Peer to Peer applications. This just shows that first impression may sometimes be overrated..

Farewell, Steve Jobs..

I'm going to go ahead and tell you guys that I was once an apple hater. Yes, I am a Microsoft fanboy and I will always be. I never looked back until I got my first apple product, which is the greatest smartphone in the world -  the iPhone 4. I also owned two iPads, the first and second generation model. Even-though both tablets aren't in my possession any more both were amazing products and if I can say so myself, it's the best tablet out there. Those things including the MAC wouldn't be possible without Steve Jobs.

I know it's already a day late but that was just because I was debating with myself whether or not to post something about the death of Steve. But in the end I decided to do so cause I just feel obligated to pay my respect to the world's greatest inventor. I respect everything that Steve Jobs accomplished and I am happy to be a part of the techno Revolution. It will be very hard to move forward without his guidance but the revolution has to go on. Whether you are an Apple, Android, Nokia, Microsoft FAN BOY you can't deny how Jobs changed everything about what we have right now.

You will be missed.. Farewell and Goodbye Steve Jobs.

HELLO iPhone 4S, S= Siri's iPhone 4... :|

Today, 04 October 2011 apple unveiled  the newest iPhone. The iPhone 4S. It's basically an iPhone 4 but instead it has a A5 Chip processor (which is dual-core BTW) and a freaking 8 Mega-Pixel camera. And yes it comes with a voice assistant called SIRI. So there you have it the iPhone 5 RUMORS survives another day, YEAR, MONTHS.. WHO KNOWS??

I myself was surprised with this move by apple. Why release a phone that looks exactly the same as the iPhone 4? I know that it does have a freaking awesome specs like the 1080p camera but why didn't they even bother changing the design of it? I'm really frustrated right now, I feel like apple has let me down. The iPhone 4 was a game changer in the mobile market but with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Droid Bionic waiting for the iPhone 4S in the Smart Phone battlefield it's seems like apple has already raised the white flag before the war even started. The sad reality here is even if the 4S is stupid (well SIRI isn't trust me) people are still going to buy this Phone over it's competitors because of the apps.

Am I going to buy the Phone? I'm really upset with apple right now, but as stupid as it may sound.. Yes, I can definitely see myself overpaying to get this phone. Why? Cause that's where apple is good at... convincing you that every other new release is way better than the old version and it's true. I first hated the iPad 2 but after a few months, the anger was gone and I bought myself one and was really surprised how better it is than the first generation iPad and I know it's going to happen again.

It will be interesting to see how many iPhone lovers will jump off the ship and sail with the Android phones.. As for me it's always going to be the iPhone.. iPhone = APPS..

You can see the full comparison (specs) of the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S here.

Let's Talk iPhone.

Here we are after months of rumors it all ends here, well tonight, or today or whatever time the Let's talk iPhone event starts in your time-zone. The non-stop rumor mill about the upcoming iPhone just pissed the hell out of me but finally it's about to end. Anyway so what do I expect from the next generation iPhone?

I honestly don't know, my iPhone 4 has been with me for a year already and my only problem with it is the freaking fees for a data plan and that's it. It's an almost perfect phone. Maybe the flash shit sometimes and the useless video cannot be played on a mobile device thingy. Sometimes the small screen annoys the hell out of me most especially when I'm watching videos stored on my device. So basically those are just the small things I can think of that can be changed/improved in the next generation iPhone.

Will I upgrade?? Well that depends. I'm not really interested in upgrading this year so yeah apple has to freaking present a unicorn at the event in order for me to get this new device by which I mean WOW me. It's like if the Samsung Galaxy S II is better than the next generation iPhone then I'm sticking with my current phone. But who knows right?

I'll be posting all of my reaction tomorrow about the said event so stay tuned.
