The Most Amazing iPhone Yet is Finally in Town.

With the official release of the iPhone 4S here in the kingdom, here I am again back from where I began. Yep, all of a sudden I fell in love with that phone again. DAMN that 8 Mega Pixel camera and that 1080p video capturing capabilities of that damn phone(no it's not illegal to say damn twice in a sentence). So where do I begin?

Yes the phone is pricey but at least you know what you're paying for. It's the best smartphone out there(sorry Android fans it's just the painful truth). I paid around 827 dollars for a nokia phone (Nokia N97), Biggest MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. But with the iPhone it's all worth it. But what annoys me the most is it's the same damn DESIGN of the iPhone 4!(yes I did say damn again) It's just like what apple did with the 3GS and the 3G. Same body but better hardware for example the processor which is an A5 chip dual core processor and better camera and of course the selling point... Ladies and Gents freaking SIRI (which might actually be booted by hackers into older IOS Devices). So is it worth it?

I'm going to stick with what I said before and what every one else is saying. If you're upgrading from an iphone 3g/3gs or just jumping the APPLE IPHONE SHIP then yes the iphone 4S is the phone for you! BUt if you're like me who's coming from an Iphone 4 you might want to wait for the next generation iphone, cause seriously the speed differences might be around 1-2 sec faster but what's the freaking point? it will still load up anyway.

To sum it up, the iPhone is amazing in every way possible. Yeah the user interface might be old already but remember don't fix it when it's not broken kinda like what COD did with COD4, MW2 and MW3. So am I gonna buy a freaking iPhone 4S on it's release date here in the kingdom? (longest question ever) I MIGHT.... Well it depends. Just read the damn entry. THANKS!

MW3 is Inbound.

I think I finally have to admit it, at first I wasn't really that excited with MW3 until BF3 completely failed me. Even though origin sucks a lot, EA and it's costumer service online might still be one of the best out there. Why? Cause I got my money back and I used that money to buy MW3 and is already preloaded on my machine via Steam and is ready to go whenever the game gets released tomorrow.

Am I excited? Heck yeah!  For the record the first COD that I finished was unfortunately Modern Warfare 2 on PC then a month after I finished COD 4 on the Xbox 360 for just one night. Then it was Blackops which is still the best COD yet IMO. I already tested out if my Dell can run the game smoothly and according to the Canyourunit website that yeah my crappy laptop can actually run the game decently. I also played a little bit of Blackops lastnight. I always sucked at FPS multiplayers and I hate getting shot constantly by COD veterans but I did well lastnight. Best Record I got was 19-5. Not bad for a guy who hasn't played the game for a while.

So I guess that's it, everything is set. I just can't wait to finish the single player campaign, hopefully it isn't hard as COD4 cause honestly that was one hell of a game or maybe it's because I played it on the Xbox not on a pc. Well who knows maybe we just have to find out. As for BF3 it looks like my premonition was right that I'll be playing MW3 first before BF3. Yep still no retail copies here in Riyadh.. Enjoy the game guys! And remember.. "There's a Soldier in all of us"...

Origin is BF3's Downfall..

The first time I met Origin was the time that EA or Dice (really who cares?) was conducting a BETA test of BF3's Multiplayer. I never got to play the BETA cause I wanted my first BF3 experience to be special. Well guess what JAMES.. AFTER all the bullshit and stuff here we are writing a blog about Origin and not the game on the night of the release date of Battlefield 3.

I pre-ordered my BF3 on Origin four days before it's release. Simply because I was like, well Steam didn't give me any problems downloading and updating games, and their payment system is unbelievably safe. So yeah with just around 200 dollars on my pocket I decided to go broke and pre-order the freaking game. (Well I didn't went broke but still it was 66 dollars on Origin, that's way too much for a game) With all the hype and shit I discovered that our region (middle east) is scheduled to get the game 2 days late compared to the US. Well I let slide cause just like Dead Island we also got the game late. After hours of purchasing the game an email was sent by EA stating that my game is ready for Pre-load. So when I tried pre-loading the game it was just stuck with the Preparing status and gets paused. That thing happened over and over again for four freaking days. I thought that maybe I should wait for the release date to download the game. So that's what I did. Watched a freaking 24-Hour Live-stream by some famous youtubers as they play the amazing game. And when the release date of the game (this morning) came. The first thing I did was uninstall Origin, download the latest version of it on their website. Clear computer history and just clean everything. Even the registry. Turned off my antivirus and turned off my FIREWALL. And when I pressed the download button... it gave me this BULLSHIT..

Same thing all over again. So after millions of attempt to download the game. I gave up. Talked to a guy on EA to get a refund but since he asked me to wait for a day or two to decide. That's what I did cause buying the retail version wouldn't work too cause I also had to unlock the game through Origin and according to him it might give me another issue... Since yeah we don't live in a EU or US region...

BF3 was first available on steam for Pre-ordering. But on July they decided to pull it out of Steam. Yep and then months after it went on sale on Origin. I won't blame BF3 cause EA is their distributor but EA is stupid for doing a such big mess with origin. It's not even a legit release yet cause yes ORIGIN is still on BETA. Seems like a pretty wise thing to do. SELL ONE OF THE BIGGEST FPS FRANCHISE EVER in a freaking BETA STORE..

In conclusion Origin is BF3's downfall. BF3 will be remembered as one of the best FPS games ever! And I can't and wouldn't deny that cause just seeing game plays of it on youtube.. it's just like watching an amazing action movie. But for me I will remember Battlefield 3 as a game that it took me days before I can play it not because I can't afford the game but simply because Origin failed me....

McAfee Security Center = FUCK YOU.

When I purchased my Dell Inspiron Laptop about nine months ago, it came with the McAfee Security Center as the main Anti-Virus for the said notebook. But here's the catch the license is only valid for six months. At that time I told myself that if this shit expires I'm going to head over to piratebay and download a cracked version of any Anti-Virus in the market. But then after using it for about three months I saw how effective the Security Center was. Then when I only had a month left before it expires Dell emailed me a special offer that would give me 20 percent off if I renew my McAfee license before it expires. Without a doubt it was a bargain, top of the line security for my computer for a cheap price. It was a win-win until.... NOW.

Well what's bugging me is how strict it is when it comes to downloading cracked files. It doesn't even ask you if you want to delete the file or not. It just automatically deletes it from your system right away. It doesn't even have a vault for the virus that it deleted for you to retrieve it. I had to turn the "real time scanning" off just to download any .exe files from the internet. And this is where I actually lost it, when it starts blocking sites cause they are "potentially" harmful files on the website. I know it's just doing it's job to protect my pc from any malware shit but this is getting out of hand. If I only know that this is going to happen I should have just purchased an ESET NOD Anti-Virus. Which actually does the things that I said above.

I already disabled the Google Chrome Extension of it for me to be able to surf the net freely again. I already got used to turning the Real Time Scanning off whenever I'm downloading any app from the web or from any Peer to Peer applications. This just shows that first impression may sometimes be overrated..

Farewell, Steve Jobs..

I'm going to go ahead and tell you guys that I was once an apple hater. Yes, I am a Microsoft fanboy and I will always be. I never looked back until I got my first apple product, which is the greatest smartphone in the world -  the iPhone 4. I also owned two iPads, the first and second generation model. Even-though both tablets aren't in my possession any more both were amazing products and if I can say so myself, it's the best tablet out there. Those things including the MAC wouldn't be possible without Steve Jobs.

I know it's already a day late but that was just because I was debating with myself whether or not to post something about the death of Steve. But in the end I decided to do so cause I just feel obligated to pay my respect to the world's greatest inventor. I respect everything that Steve Jobs accomplished and I am happy to be a part of the techno Revolution. It will be very hard to move forward without his guidance but the revolution has to go on. Whether you are an Apple, Android, Nokia, Microsoft FAN BOY you can't deny how Jobs changed everything about what we have right now.

You will be missed.. Farewell and Goodbye Steve Jobs.

HELLO iPhone 4S, S= Siri's iPhone 4... :|

Today, 04 October 2011 apple unveiled  the newest iPhone. The iPhone 4S. It's basically an iPhone 4 but instead it has a A5 Chip processor (which is dual-core BTW) and a freaking 8 Mega-Pixel camera. And yes it comes with a voice assistant called SIRI. So there you have it the iPhone 5 RUMORS survives another day, YEAR, MONTHS.. WHO KNOWS??

I myself was surprised with this move by apple. Why release a phone that looks exactly the same as the iPhone 4? I know that it does have a freaking awesome specs like the 1080p camera but why didn't they even bother changing the design of it? I'm really frustrated right now, I feel like apple has let me down. The iPhone 4 was a game changer in the mobile market but with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Droid Bionic waiting for the iPhone 4S in the Smart Phone battlefield it's seems like apple has already raised the white flag before the war even started. The sad reality here is even if the 4S is stupid (well SIRI isn't trust me) people are still going to buy this Phone over it's competitors because of the apps.

Am I going to buy the Phone? I'm really upset with apple right now, but as stupid as it may sound.. Yes, I can definitely see myself overpaying to get this phone. Why? Cause that's where apple is good at... convincing you that every other new release is way better than the old version and it's true. I first hated the iPad 2 but after a few months, the anger was gone and I bought myself one and was really surprised how better it is than the first generation iPad and I know it's going to happen again.

It will be interesting to see how many iPhone lovers will jump off the ship and sail with the Android phones.. As for me it's always going to be the iPhone.. iPhone = APPS..

You can see the full comparison (specs) of the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S here.

Let's Talk iPhone.

Here we are after months of rumors it all ends here, well tonight, or today or whatever time the Let's talk iPhone event starts in your time-zone. The non-stop rumor mill about the upcoming iPhone just pissed the hell out of me but finally it's about to end. Anyway so what do I expect from the next generation iPhone?

I honestly don't know, my iPhone 4 has been with me for a year already and my only problem with it is the freaking fees for a data plan and that's it. It's an almost perfect phone. Maybe the flash shit sometimes and the useless video cannot be played on a mobile device thingy. Sometimes the small screen annoys the hell out of me most especially when I'm watching videos stored on my device. So basically those are just the small things I can think of that can be changed/improved in the next generation iPhone.

Will I upgrade?? Well that depends. I'm not really interested in upgrading this year so yeah apple has to freaking present a unicorn at the event in order for me to get this new device by which I mean WOW me. It's like if the Samsung Galaxy S II is better than the next generation iPhone then I'm sticking with my current phone. But who knows right?

I'll be posting all of my reaction tomorrow about the said event so stay tuned.

Do you Really Need a Gaming Mouse?

I'm not going to say this as an expert gamer, cause really I'm not. I'm decent and that's it. So here's my opinion regarding the matter, YES a gaming mouse is definitely much better than a regular mouse not only in gaming but in your daily use.

At first I was 'OKAY" with the regular Microsoft mouse that came with the wireless keyboard i purchased about 3 months ago. But then when I started using it playing Minecraft, COD, Battlefield, ECT. it started to feel like it's too small (that's what she said). Then everything followed, that even when I'm just surfing the web it felt like it was really uncomfortable. That's when I decided to buy a gaming mouse, which one you may ask? I bought the budget gaming mouse from Microsoft (yep big fan of Microsoft even if I own an iPhone and two iPads all of my computers are running on windows 7 and yes I can't wait for windows 8) called the Side Winder X5. It might be the best decision I ever made since I've been having a blast ever-since I started to use it. Only problem I'm seeing right now is I can see myself buying more of these mouse and seriously the price isn't a joke too.

There you have it, Gaming mouse do you really NEED them? YES.

Shoe from the Future.

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be in the future? Well Marty Mcfly does most especially his feet (that wasn't a fetish joke btw). So look at what Nike thought about, produce 1500 pairs of Marty's shoes in Back To the Future 2 (the shoe he wear during his mini adventure in the year 2015) and auction it on Ebay in an effort to support the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research. Well it's really for a good cause but I think Nike is doing it wrong.

First I think they should have just went on to produce a lot of those freaking AMAZING Shoes to be available to the public for around 500 dollars and give 20% (or more cause really I'm not good with numbers) of every shoe sold to the foundation. That way they make money and give more to the foundation. What they did here is like showing an amazing movie trailer but telling the people that only rich dudes have the right to watch the movie. It just doesn't make sense. Well if they do it in the future (preferably before 2015) well great for them but for now I'm just gonna sit on my couch and droll over a picture of that SHOES. Well enjoy this commercial from Nike, well at least it's funny but then it brings me back to my original point.. Till then DOUBLE SAD FACE. :(

Must Have IOS Apps.

My first apple product is an iPhone 4 that I bought about a year ago. My first problem was getting the right apps for my freaking phone. Well every Thursday starting of course today, I'll be sharing to you guys some of my favorite apps running on my iphone. Well here it goes.

1. Data Usage ($0.99) - If you're a limited data subscriber like me, this app is for you. This app basically monitors your cellular and wifi data usage. It can predict or calculate your data usage in a month based on your daily use to help you avoid over usage of your monthly quota.

2. SB Nation (FREE) - I'm a big sports fan and lucky for me there's an official Blog for the teams I root in the NBA. NFL and many more. It makes commenting on stories and articles easy as ever. You can select on team blogs that you want to follow. So if you're a SB Nation user download it now!

3. Icebreaker ($0.99) - Well here's a time killing app. Icebreaker is basically a game where you avoid enemy hockey players from hitting you as you try to score the puck to your goal. The graphics is outstanding as well. One of the best IOS games that I ever played.

Minecraft Update DELAYED.

I've been dying to get this update after watching a preview of it on Youtube on IGN's channel about two weeks ago. It's funny that after all the hype and shit the said update is going to be delayed. Bummer eh? Tell me about. Oh well according to some sources the update will be out on Monday, September 12. For now just enjoy this 1.8 trailer from Mojang.

Random Blogging Intro.

You might be wondering what's up with this blog and why the hell is it called Random Blogging. Well first yes the blog title is inspired by iCarly's Random Dancing, yes I do watch the tv show and I'm a big fan (literally big/tall, i'm 5'9 and I weigh around 80 kilos). See what I did there? Well that's the reason why I named this blog page, Random Blogging cause I'll be talking about random shtuff (in case you're not aware shtuff is stuff ) here so please bear with me with the epic randomness that I put in this blog.

Most likely I'll be talking about technology, I don't want to call it techy stuff cause the word itself seems a little bit serious and that's just not me. I'm a little bit of a gamer so yeah expect some video games review. Maybe some reviews of some random movies that I watch. Random Albums that I get to listen to. Just anything that you can imagine under the sun, well except porn(was trying to be funny.. is it working?) Well I guess I'm not making sense anymore so I'll leave you guys with an Oscar Wilde quote "Experience is simply the name we give to our mistakes".
